This small Provencal mas (stone house), surrounded by vineyards and facing the exquisite Dentelles de Montmirail, was built in 1850 by the Jerôme family. It is reputed that Madame Jerôme, the family matriach, commanded a personality of such force that she was renowned throughout the region and her home as a result took on the simple moniker of La Jerôme .

Recently renovated, this newest addition to the Brechet family group of wineries produces red wines of exceptional quality under the appellation of Cotes du Rhone. Vinified by the team at Domaine des Bosquets in Gigondas, the wines of Domaine de la Jerôme are rich and full bodied, typically showing notes of dark berry fruits and licorice with soft tanins and are very well balanced.
